EndorseMe Tool

This EndorseMe tool is designed using an easy-to-use database format, to simplify the search and categorisation of information specifically related to the recognition Certificate of Competency (CoC). This is geared towards seafarers across all EU member states, and third countries.

Основната цел на този инструмент за онлайн база данни е да предостави точна и актуална информация на моряците относно признаването на техния CoC в две категории:

1. Признаване от държава-членка на ЕС и трета страна на техния сертификат, издаден от тяхната национална администрация; и
2. Признаване от собствените им национални администрации на СоС на други квалифицирани моряци от ЕС и трети държави.

The tool shows data in a drop-down menu, to simply cross-check of International STCW standardisation on recognition, between a selected country and other seafaring countries that will endorse certification. The information provided is using IMO and EMSA data, published by STCW participating countries official national administrations.

За проекта

ENDORSEME Еразъм+ проектът обедини шест организации от шест европейски държави, за да предостави платформа, която ще проучи приемането/потвърждаването на сертификати за работа на море.

The project develops a platform for various ranks of seafarers. The platform has an option to investigate acceptance/endorsement of sea-going certificates. ENDORSEME project aims to:

  • Identifies the problems associated with recognition/endorsement of certificates in a questionnaire-based needs analysis and gathers information based on the investigation of undiscovered areas.
  • Develops a platform and complementary online tool for seafarers, shipping companies, and MET institutions to identify whether the certificates of seafarers are accepted/endorsed by one country to another.

ENDORSEME platform cross-references the certificates available to the seafaring profession to provide a higher quality system that suits each individual member state. It also enables MET programs to stay up to date with changes to requirements locally and internationally with minimal disruption to other core areas of the program. The quality assurance system of the ENDORSEME platform enables good practices to be seen and transferred to other member states while maintaining a high quality of education, training, and assessment.
